About

I am a Research Associate from the Institute of Intelligence Science and Engineering, Shenzhen Polytechnic University (SZPU). My research interests include new electricity systems, electric vehicles, power-transportation coupled networks, and demand response issues.

Before joining SZPU, I did my Ph.D. at the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC), University of Macau (UM) under the supervision of Prof. Hongcai Zhang and Prof. Ningyi Dai. I received a BEng in Automation from Shandong Univ., an MSc in ECE from NUS, and an ME in HKUST.

On Mar. 14, 2025, I joined the Institute of Intelligence Science and Engineering, Shenzhen Polytechnic University (SZPU) as a Research Associate.

On Nov. 13, 2024, I graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Macau. I express my deepest gratitude to my supervisors, Prof. Ningyi Dai and Prof. Hongcai Zhang. I would also like to thank the professors on the Examination Committee for my Oral Defense: Prof. Hongxun Hui, Prof. Lao Keng-Weng, and Prof. Meng Song.

On Mar. 05, 2023, together with Mr. Jinxi Zhang and Dr. Hui Li, we were honored to win the Third Award in the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area New Energy Intelligent Vehicle Big Data Innovation Competition. On Oct. 01, 2022, I will give a presentation at the forthcoming 6th IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), Chengdu, from Oct 28 to 30. The title is “Spatial-temporal Scheduling of Commercial EVs for System Restoration of a Damaged Power-transportation Coupled Network”.

On Nov. 19, 2021, together with Mr. Jinxi Zhang, we were honored to win the Award of Excellence in the 2021 X-Game Shanghai New Energy Vehicle Big Data Competition. Prof. Hongcai Zhang received the Best Mentor Award as the supervisor. Check the news in Chinese or English.

From Jul. to Nov. 2021, I have been working as the student leader on a project called Development Plan of Electric Vehicle Charging in Macau cooperated with Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM),澳门电力. The final project report will be submitted to the leadership of CEM and relevant departments of the Macao SAR Government.
